Turfgrass was planted in Mid-September 2012. On 3/30/2013, the left side was fertilized with ATS 30-0-4 30% SCU,1% Fe at 1 lb N/ 1,000 sq ft rate, and the right side was treated with Holganix and .75 lb N/ 1,000 sq ft.

It’s early March and there is not much sign that spring is right around the corner. Fortunately, in talking with our sales force and to customers as well, I think it is going to be a good spring for our industry.

Now is a great time to reflect and evaluate your 2012 season. It seems that, in general, most turf professionals had a positive and successful year. We had great March and April weather to kick off our growing season, a severe drought to give us some challenges, and a good fall for recovery purposes.
