Early Order Time! These are dreaded words to most end users, and understandably so. Fall is a busy time for our end users, especially superintendents. They’re busy dealing with golf schedules, aeration, falling leaves, herbicide sprays, fungicide sprays, winterization planning, frost delays, miscellaneous fall projects, and many more responsibilities.

In addition to having long to-do lists, many have lost their summer help and are doing all this with a limited staff! With that said, early ordering for the next season isn’t usually at the top of the list. Moreover, if you do find a spare minute to look into the early order program booklet you have been given, it’s hard to figure out where to even start. The programs are filled with many numbers, and the busyness of them can make them very hard to understand. I can attest to this as a former end user myself.

Now, I have a different perspective on early order programs since I’ve had time to learn all about them. In fact, as sales representatives, we spend a lot of time studying and learning about the many manufacturer programs before they start. This is something, as a former end user, that I wish I had the time to do. There are multiple opportunities to take advantage of incentives during early order, too. Next-season payment terms are common, and some of these programs also offer discounts to pay early. Early ordering definitely has something for everyone!

With that said, please reach out to your local ATS representative and let them do this work for you. We know your schedules and responsibilities are very hectic this time of year, so we’re very flexible and are here to work for you to allow you to take advantage of all the different programs. So please reach out, and we will make it happen for you! You can find a rep here if you don’t have one already.
